Fund & Redeem on a Tethered Clover Mini (Video)

This quick demonstration shows you how to use your Clover Mini (tethered to a Clover Register) to load and redeem Ackroo Gift & Loyalty cards:

  • Launching Ackroo on Clover
    From your Clover Register home screen, open the “Ackroo Gift & Loyalty” app.

  • Funding a Gift Card

    1. Tap Fund Gift

    2. Enter the dollar amount to load

    3. Present the card to your Clover Mini (tap/swipe)

    4. Collect the printed merchant and customer receipts

  • Redeeming Gift, Loyalty or Promo Funds

    1. Tap Redeem Gift & Loyalty

    2. (Optional) Enter the total sale amount so change is calculated automatically

    3. Enter the amount to apply from the card

    4. Present the card to your Clover Mini

    5. Collect the receipt and tender any remaining balance

  • Tips

    • Make sure Partial Payment Mode is enabled if you want to enter the full bill amount and have the terminal draw whatever is available on the card.

    • To toggle between Gift and Loyalty redemptions, simply select the appropriate tender on the screen before tapping the card.
