Redeeming an Ackroo Gift Card During a Sale on Clover Flex

You can seamlessly apply a gift‐card balance to a sale right from the SALE screen on your Clover Flex. Here’s how:

  1. Start the Sale

    • Tap SALE on the home screen

    • Enter the full-tax total & tap CHARGE

  2. Add a Tip (Optional)

    • If prompted, choose a tip % or enter a custom amount, or select No Tip

  3. Select AckrooAPP Tender

    • Tap AckrooAPP to use a gift card

  4. Present the Card

    • Swipe with the mag-stripe reader

    • Scan its barcode/QR via the camera

    • Or Key In the full card number

  5. Confirm & Finish

    • A pop-up confirms the gift-card amount applied

    • Tap the pop-up to continue

  6. Handle the Remaining Balance

    • If there’s still a balance, choose CHARGE (credit/debit) or CASH

    • Tender each as usual in your POS

  7. Print or Send Receipts

    • Print Customer Receipt for a paper copy

    • Email: enter an address & opt-in for marketing

    • Text Message: enter a mobile number

  8. Complete the Transaction

    • Tap DONE and then process any further tenders
