What do the SNPs marked with an asterisk in the SNP viewer of my results mean?

These are SNPs that can be inferred with extremely high reliability (one of the points that differentiate us from other companies). SNPs that are not reflected in the raw file are indicated with an asterisk in the SNP viewer. The asterisk indicates that the genetic variant has been imputed. Imputation in genetics refers to the statistical inference of unobserved genotypes (not extracted in the laboratory analysis) with extremely high reliability.
