If a chapter already exists in your city, your application will be reviewed by your local Chapter Lead. If there's an open role on their team, you'll hear from them regarding next steps. This typically involves a brief 30-minute interview to discuss interests, alignment, and opportunities. To check on the status of your application, you're welcome to email community@adplist.org.
If a chapter does not exist in your city, your application will be reviewed by the ADPList Community Team. In order for a new chapter to be established, the following conditions must be met:
Your region must have at least 300 ADPeople (mentors and mentees). This number is crucial for the success of our events, as they rely on active participation. Moreover, local sponsors play a vital role in supporting these events, necessitating a significant audience turnout.
We require a minimum of 1 volunteer who can serve as Chapter Lead. From our experience, having a core team of 4 volunteers is ideal for effectively organize and manage events. However, teams can be built and expanded over time.
Our team must have the bandwidth to support new chapters. As of February 2025, our team is adding new chapters on a case-by-case basis!
