We’re also rolling out a new version of the Aera app focused on education, smarter saving, and getting you home faster. Within the new app you will be able to see your balances, transactions and earnings with Blossom.
With a current targeted return of 6.50% we think the Blossom offer is worth looking into. |
How do I migrate my savings to Blossom?
Firstly, your savings are safely held as cash in a New Zealand registered bank while you migrate over to the new savings features.
In order to migrate you will need to do two things:
Open a Blossom account via the Dashboard in the Aera App. Navigate to the "What's New" tile at the bottom of the screen or use the "+" menu. This lets Blossom know you are coming from us and sync both platforms.
You will need to re-verify your identity with Blossom prior to sending money across.
Blossom have support for both one off and regular payments (so you can set up automatic payment savings plans in-app!).
Withdraw your balance from your Deposit Accelerators and Everyday wallets using the bank payment option in the existing app.
Once the new Aera app is live on the App stores, you will be able to view your Everyday balance as at 30 June 2025, and request us to make an outward payment back to your bank account. Until then you can do it yourself.
Note interest will no longer accrue past 1 July 2025 so it's important that you migrate as soon as possible.
