You can only redeem credits when you ultimately use Aera’s services to complete your first home purchase.
You “unlock” credits along your learning and savings journey, and whatever credit balance you have unlocked and are eligible to redeem can only be used towards your first home deposit.
Right now, there is one service that Aera provides where you can redeem your credits balance, up to a maximum of $10,000:
Our First Home Finder service helps find you that brand new home. Our process includes establishing your needs vs wants, and creating a playlist of suitable properties from our partners. A First Home Finder will take you on property tours and answer all of your questions about your first home. When buying a property through a First Home Finder, Aera will contribute up to $10,000 towards your deposit, helping you get to the finish line faster.
Sometimes, upon completing the full list of activities in the app you may have a small surplus of credits after buying your home. This is OK and we are working on 'what's next' for our graduating members.
