Air Quality Reports

Compare air quality against a built-in standard

Air Quality Reports rate your air quality against a built-in standard. They show how often each parameter was Good, Moderate, or Poor. Choose the standard that fits the space you monitor: a building, a vehicle or aircraft cabin, or a WELL-certified project.

For the settings every report shares (name, schedule, working hours, Noesis summary), see Creating & Scheduling Reports. To set your own thresholds instead of using a standard, see Custom Air Quality Reports.

Set up an Air Quality Report

  1. In Reports, click + New Report.

  2. Fill in the Info card.

  3. In Settings, set Report type to Air Quality.

  4. Choose a Standard, then your devices and a view (see below).

  5. Set the Content and Time Range & Schedule cards, then click Create.

Settings

  • Standard – the set of thresholds used to rate each parameter as Good, Moderate, or Poor. To see a standard's threshold values, select it and click the ⓘ icon.

    • Aethair Blue – Aethair's indoor air quality thresholds for buildings. They are the same ones used for Blue Verification, in the Aethair App, and across Environet.

    • Aethair Cabin – thresholds for enclosed cabins, including vehicle and aircraft cabins and equipment cabins at mines and construction sites.

    • WELL v2 – thresholds for the main air quality parameters in the WELL Building Standard v2.

    • Custom – set your own parameters and alert levels. See Custom Air Quality Reports.

  • Devices – the devices to include. For many devices, type a Tag instead of selecting them one by one.

  • View

    • Basic View – the standard report layout.

    • Extended View – adds the Analysis per Device section. Extended reports are longer and make larger PDFs.

Standard thresholds

The Good range for each parameter, by standard. A report includes only the parameters your devices measure.

What's in an Air Quality Report

Summary

An overview of air quality across the reporting period:

  • An overall Good, Moderate, or Poor rating

  • A table listing each parameter's standard range next to its average for the period. Averages outside the range are highlighted in yellow or red, so problem parameters stand out at a glance.

Summary per Parameter

A breakdown for each parameter:

  • A pie chart showing how much of the time readings were Good, Moderate, or Poor

  • The minimum, maximum, and average values

  • A table of the Good, Moderate, and Poor ranges for the selected standard

Summary per Device

A bar graph showing how much time each device spent in the Good, Moderate, and Poor ranges. It also lists:

  • Which parameters reached Moderate or Poor

  • How long each parameter stayed above those thresholds

Analysis per Device

Extended View only

A detailed section for each device:

  • Line graphs of each parameter over the reporting period

  • Tables of parameter values across the period

Summary by Noesis

If Include Summary by Noesis is on, the report ends with an AI-written summary and key findings.
