You're in full control of the units on your size charts. Whether your shoppers think in centimetres, inches, or both, you can set your chart up to match. Here's how.
How units work in AI Frame
Your size chart's units are set by the column headers and the values you enter - so switching units means updating the column to show the unit you want, and entering the measurements to match. This gives you the flexibility to use whichever your customers prefer.
Switch a column to inches (or cm)
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → AI Frame – Virtual Try-On, then click Size Chart and select your product.
Click into the column header you want to change - for example, change Chest (cm) to Chest (inch).
Update the values in that column to the matching measurements (for example, enter the inch figures instead of the centimetre ones).
Repeat for any other columns you'd like to change.
Click Save size guide.
Want to show both cm and inches?
You can give shoppers both at once by adding extra columns:
Click + Col to add a new column.
Label one set of columns in cm (e.g. Chest (cm)) and another in inches (e.g. Chest (inch)).
Fill in the values for each, then click Save size guide.
💡 A little tip: pick the unit your typical shopper expects - many European stores lead with cm, while others prefer inches. If you're unsure, showing both keeps everyone happy.
Keep it consistent
Whichever you choose, it's worth using the same units across all your products, so shoppers always know what they're reading as they browse your store.
