Where can I set up or edit default notifications?
You can find all options related to default notifications (such as confirmations and reminders) under Settings > Notifications.
Here, you can manage both email and WhatsApp notifications.
How can I send an appointment confirmation?
When you click on “Appointment confirmation” in the Notifications menu, a pop-up will appear.
Here you can:
Enable or disable the notification.
Choose which channel(s) to use (email or WhatsApp).
Include or exclude a cancellation link in the message.
Select the language of the message.
Decide whether to send the confirmation for every appointment or only the first appointment of the day.
You can also customize the default message.
⚠️ Important: Leave the placeholders (text between # symbols) exactly as they are — Aimy automatically replaces them with the correct appointment details.
Below are the placeholders you can use (case sensitive!):

At the bottom of the message, you can also include your contact details and links to social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram). Click Save to apply your settings.
The appointment confirmation is sent immediately after a booking via the selected channels. This ensures the client receives the confirmation right away and can add it to their calendar.
If a cancellation link is included, clients can cancel directly via email or reschedule through the online booking widget(up to 24 hours in advance).
How can I send an appointment reminder?
When you click on “Appointment reminder” in the Notifications menu, a pop-up will appear.
Here you can:
Enable or disable the reminder.
Choose between email or WhatsApp.
Define how many hours in advance the reminder should be sent.
Decide whether to send the reminder for every appointment or only the first one of the day.
Customize the default message.
Click Preview Template to see how the message will look before saving it.
💡 Tip: Appointment reminders are essential — they significantly reduce no-shows by reminding clients automatically before their visit.
How can I send a cancellation confirmation?
In addition to confirmations and reminders, you can also send cancellation confirmations via email.
Go to Settings > Notifications > Appointment cancellation to adjust these settings.
Here you can choose whether to send a confirmation for every cancellation, or only when a client cancels the appointment themselves.
How can I collect client reviews/rates?
To improve your salon’s service, you can automatically ask clients for feedback after their visit.
When you click on “Rate appointment” in the Notifications menu, a pop-up will appear.
Here you can:
Enable or disable the review request.
Choose the channel (email or WhatsApp).
Add a custom message.
Choose how the review should look by configuring the following options:

5-star rating (email only):
A quick and convenient way for clients to rate your service immediately after their appointment.Detailed review link/button:
Add this button to allow clients to leave more detailed feedback. This gives you valuable insights into areas for improvement.Opt-out note:
Add a note allowing clients to unsubscribe from future review requests. This ensures you respect their preferences and avoid unwanted messages.
Click Preview Template to view the email or WhatsApp message before saving.
How can I remind clients to book their next appointment?
To help clients remember to rebook on time, you can set up an automatic rebooking trigger.
When you click on “Automatic trigger” in the Notifications menu, a pop-up will appear.
Here you can:
Enable or disable the notification.
Set how many weeks after their previous appointment the reminder should be sent.
Choose the channel (email or WhatsApp).
Write a standard message for the trigger.
Click Preview Template to see how the message will look before saving.
How can I send birthday greetings?
To automatically send birthday messages to clients, click on “Client birthday” in the Notifications menu.
A pop-up will appear where you can:
Enable or disable the birthday notification.
Choose whether to send it via email or WhatsApp.
Write your personalized birthday message.
Click Preview Template to check the final message before saving.
