What it is

Unallocated storage is a solution where your precious metals are held as part of a pooled holding.

  • You have a claim to metal by weight, not to specific bars or coins.

  • We back the pooled holdings with physical bullion and manages the logistics and insurance.

Why choose it

Unallocated storage is designed to be:

  • Easy to start and add to

  • Fee-free on an ongoing basis – no annual storage fees

  • Fully insured

  • No redemption fee

  • Statement of Holdings available for audit purposes

  • Audited periodically

It suits customers who:

  • want exposure to bullion without worrying about bar/coin selection, and

  • prefer no ongoing storage fee, focusing instead on simple entry/exit, and

  • prefer no fee when redeeming.

Your options in the future

From unallocated storage you can:

  • Redeem to physical

    • Convert your unallocated balance into physical bars or coins. Free option available.

  • Sell

    • We buy back at our published buyback rates at the time you sell.

    • Your balance is reduced accordingly and proceeds are paid out.

Fees, limits & notice

  • Minimum per transaction: $5,000 (applies to buy, sell, or redeem).

  • Notice period for redemption: Allow 2 business days for us to process physical redemptions from unallocated storage.

  • Standard redemption: No fee if you accept bars of our choice. We generally use the largest available bar sizes and do not guarantee a specific brand.

  • Redemption in 1kg/1oz Ainslie bars: Bars are supplied as 1kg Ainslie silver bullion and/or 1oz Ainslie gold bullion.

    • Barring fees:
