Can I get VAT refund on online shopping

The goods must be first delivered in France, Belgium, or Northern Ireland and afterwards taken back home in your personal luggage.

You can even order online even before arrival and have the goods delivered to the retailer’s physical store, your hotel, or friends and family.

The online merchant must either:

have a VAT registration in the country of delivery, or
be registered for the EU “VAT one-stop-shop” (also known as “OSS”).

Important

Order confirmation emails or pro-forma documents are not acceptable, you must obtain a business invoice in the name of Airvat (see “Invoices in the name of Airvat”)..

For this you will usually be able to specify Airvat’s details in the “billing address” section in addition to your own delivery address.

Do not specify the Airvat address as the “delivery address” as we are not able to accept any parcels for you.
