Optimize Your Test Cases: When to Regenerate with AI Test Case Generator for Jira
Updated over 5 months ago

Updating your test scenarios? If you’ve made changes to a user story or aren’t satisfied with the initially generated test cases, regenerating them is simple and effective.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Selective Regeneration: Click ‘Regenerate Test Cases’ which is the blue button near the footer of the issue once tests have been generated. After regeneration, you can manually delete any test cases that are no longer needed or duplicated.

  2. Automatic Replacement: For a cleaner approach, use the ‘Regenerate Test Cases’ option and check the box labeled ‘Delete existing test cases when re-generating.’ This will automatically replace the old versions with new, updated test cases.

You will find these options conveniently located near the 'Regenerate Test Cases' button, ensuring a streamlined process.

Can't wait to dive in? If you’re eager to start leveraging these benefits right away, access our On-Boarding Articles and Technical Guides for the AI Test Case Generator for Jira.
