Using Bulk Test Case Generation with the AI Test Case Generator for Azure

AI Test Case Generator has a bulk capability designed to automate the creation of test cases by identifying a group of user stories.

Updated over a week ago

1. Navigate to the Queries page from the sidebar and click the ‘New Query’ button.

2. Select a value for the ‘Work Item Type’ field from the dropdown where the user story sits (eg: user story, issue etc.) and click the ‘Run query’ button.

3. Select multiple user stories from the results by using ctrl + left click or shift + left click in the user story title to highlight which stories you want to include in the bulk test case generation and press the right click on the highlighted user stories.

4. Click the ‘Generate Test Case’ button.

5. Click the ‘Start’ button to start generating test case.

(Note: Unchecking the ‘Skip items with existing test cases’ allows you to generate the test cases for user stories that has existing test cases that are linked to their story)

6. Navigate to the ‘Boards’ page from the sidebar and open the user stories to see the test cases are generated for all the selected stories using AI test case generator.
