What if the channel you're trying to disrupt gets disrupted?

If there other platforms doing this -- those expectations fall on you. But, don't get caught up building parts of the funnel that don't make sense unless you have to. 

2 choices:

- leverage other platforms to solve those problems

- build adjacent solutions yourself - last resort 

Example: If building a hiring platform - you have to manage all the workflow that the buyer expects and gets from existing players like Jobvite, etc.
