When should you start structuring pitch/PR?

  • Don’t get caught up with PR for the sake of PR

  • There are risks involved with talking about your product when it is not yet fully realized

  • Touting future capabilities that don’t exist yet can danger credibility in marketplace, with investors, press, etc.

  • Don’t tip off competitors with your ideas

  • Wait until you are happy with your product and ready to talk to journalists, investors, and ready to raise money
