If you don't have their phone number, collect it upfront with a contact form. It may not lead to video share demo, but at least it leads to initial conversation.
It could also differ depending on the level of the person you are targeting. Senior people are usually harder to get online for a demo as they prefer phone conversations. Middle level or operators are more likely to join for demo.
