Working with an outsourced SDR company will always be a hit or miss for anyone. 5 sales conversations per day is a lot of promise based on just 1000 touches per month. Outbound prospecting is not easy and it requires multiple iterations to get the messaging and target list right, especially in startups. Treat this with caution.
