How do promo codes work?
Promo codes offer variable discounts on web subscriptions. The specific discount depends on the promo code entered. Here's how to apply a promo code:
Visit the Alive website and log in or sign up.
Proceed to the payment page. and select Yearly or Monthly.
Look for the text field labeled "Promo Code" (see example below).
Enter your promo code into this field.
Click "Apply" to validate the code.
If eligible, the discount will be immediately applied to the pricing before you confirm your subscription.
The discount amount and duration (e.g., first month, first year, or longer) will depend on the specific promotion.
Always check the updated price after applying the code to confirm the discount before completing your purchase.
Eligibility
Are the discounts for all users or only new subscribers?
Eligibility depends on the specific promo code. Most codes are for new or inactive subscribers (those who canceled and subscription has expired). Please note, if you are currently subscribed to Alive, you will not be able to redeem any additional discounts until your current subscription period ends. Please make sure to cancel your current subscription and then sign back up once that has ended.
How does the discount process work?
Sign up directly on our website as we are unable to offer our discounts via Apple or Android. After entering a valid promo code during checkout, the discount will apply to your first billing cycle.

Is there a difference in discounts offered on the web versus the app?
Discounts are only offered directly on our website. If you subscribe in the app via the iOS app store or Google play store, you will not receive a discount as we do not have the ability to offer them there.

Is there a trial period associated with the discounted subscription, and if so, what are the terms?
Alive offers a 7-day free trial on first time subscriptions. You will be charged if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

No, the discounts are applicable globally.
Will users who subscribe on the web using a promo code retain their discount in subsequent billing cycles?
No, the discounted rate is fixed for the duration of the first billing cycle and will then return to the standard pricing.

Restrictions
Can I use the discount to buy a gift card for someone?
No. At this time, we are not able to apply a subscription discount to gift cards.
Can I use the discount to purchase a Family Plan?
No. At this time, we are not able to apply a subscription discount to the purchase of a Family Plan.
Do you offer military or student discounts?
No, we do not offer military or student discounts at this time.
