The Alive App is designed with the capability to listen to an external source of music so please make sure that your app is updated to the latest version.
If you are on the latest software and are unable to listen to music while the app is running, we recommend going to your settings and making sure Alive is granted all permissions in your device's settings. If something is disabled then it can have unexpected side effects.
In case the above solution doesn't work, try a clean reinstall of Alive on your device. This means you will delete the app and redownload it from the app
