Weekly evaluations are a cornerstone of team-wide journaling, providing a structured opportunity for athletes to reflect on their performance and set actionable goals. These evaluations cover 13 key areas, including technical skills, mental resilience, and personal development, ensuring a holistic approach to growth.

For teams, the weekly evaluation process can be done collectively or individually. Coaches can review common themes from the evaluations to identify areas where the team excels and where improvement is needed. For example, if multiple wrestlers identify similar challenges, the coach can address these through targeted training sessions or team discussions.

Sharing highlights from weekly evaluations during team meetings also fosters a sense of unity and shared purpose. Athletes can celebrate each other’s wins, learn from collective challenges, and strengthen their bond as a team. This process not only drives individual growth but also builds a resilient and cohesive group dynamic.
