On mobile device your view should look like below
The one possible difference can be the Read NFC option, as the device used must have NFC capability else this option will not be available (For example many tablet devices don't have NFC capabilities).
Tasks - My Tasks, Tasks and Add Task
The My Tasks shows only your tasks, and the Tasks is all tasks, you can move between My and Tasks from the top selection, you can also add a task from the blue circle + lower right.
β
We will select the first task, which we have now completed.
The task details and functions can all be accessed | For example slecting spares, I can select used spares and swiping left to change quantities and stock where the part came from | Or completing a Task, I can start the task adding the start time and date |
Complete the Actions, and Confirm Task or Confirm and Sign, depending how you have setup task signing. | If you have enabled signing you can get a signature on the mobile device screen directly | You also have the option to view and send via email the task reports |
NFC tags can also be used to Start and Complete Tasks
Select read NFC from the main menu and the ready to scan appears | Scanning the NFC tag in this case of a device shows the device and the tasks. | Selecting the task I want to complete, in this case it needs some measurements to be added, and then I can complete the task |
As I have started the task with NFC, to complete the task I need to also scan a 2nd time the NFC tag, the start and end times are automatically completed | The options after completing are the same as when I have completed manually. | I can select task pdf and email this if needed for example. |
Add Task
This allows quick adding of task, in this example we will add an extraordinary task, with a picture
Select the task type to add | Complete the details and save the task, optionally you may want to take a picture - often a picture can help understand the issue & what's needed to repair | Take the picture on the mobile and add, select from gallery (Photos) / files as needed. You can add pictures also in the web application from files or photo libraries that are accessible |
Devices
You can view the device tree and select devices, for those with the rights to add devices you do this via mobile also | If I select a device, I can see the details including the devices picture if added, and in this case I can also remove the NFC tag associated | I can also see the technical documentation directly on the mobile. |
Spares
Spares allow for searching, this can be via EAN Barcode or manual | Clicking on the EAN Bar code icon brings up the ability to scan the code | In either case the spare part can be displayed along with stock levels etc |
You can also view or add files to a spare part |
