How to set and why to use the status settings

You can set status for each device from Normal, In Repair and On Hold, these status settings give a clear visual reference of the status of devices as well as delaying the interval maintenance tasks.

To set the status of a device either right click on the device and then Set status or open the device card, edit and update status.

For devices in repair or on hold the interval tasks for the future are no longer shown, and will be re calculated when the device is moved back to the normal status. For example see below

And when Normal status is resumed

The maintance tasks resume based on the intervals set.

NOTE: You can override this function when setting a regular task, for example you may need to carry out a check, clean down or make a measurement even if a device isn't in operation. This can be done when adding a new regular task and selecting the don't stop during repairs checkbox see below.
