Once you have enabled and setup downtimes you can start by adding a downtime, which is possible when completing a task, or directly from the downtime section of the device card.
For example on the Confirm service the Insert downtime is available - It could be you want to mark the time the device was unavailable for during a regular maintenance or the task was a breakdown and the lost production should be recorder - In these case you may have differing downtime categories ie Maintenance , Failure etc
You can also add downtimes directly to a device on the downtime tab.
You can also add a downtime, or the start of the downtime when entering an Extraordinary task for the repair of a device
β
In all cases you need to have the Insert downtime rights
The data inserted for a downtime includes :-
NOTE: The Start of Downtime may well be different from the start of the task to resolve the issue. For example maybe the device failed in the night when no maintance person was available, but at 8:00 when they arrive they start to work on the issue, the downtime Starts from the failure time, and the Extrodinary task to repair from 8:00 and both end when the device is available in this case 12:00.
