Many companies not only need to maintain devices for uptime, often there are legal requirements around certification of safety devices, welders or forklift driver certifications, clean down logs and signatures.
Often these are needed for audits, and having all data recorded, and easily accessible can speed up auditing, and reduce the chances of missing documentation or re certification.
Alldevice can hold in two areas :-
Tasks and reminders for - re certification of devices or clean down logs, or logging of individuals certificates and re certification as needed. By adding all items as devices, organised by location, with the tasks / reminders as needed ensures nothing is missed.
Then adding the certificates to devices, under the reports section allows you to recall them quickly and easily
For example a fire extinguisher is added
We have set 2 tasks, one a simple pressure check and another is for the re charging and certifying of the extinguisher every 12 months, including a reminder to ensure we have a replacement.
And these templates are used in the scheduled tasks.
We have also added the 12 month certificate to the Reports section
Tip: Use a clear description for the certificates so you can easily filter on description, and or time periods, or even who uploaded.
This means even if we had an unplanned safety audit tomorrow we can easily show all documentation of certificates, and even the pressure checks carried out in between re certification.
