How to use the task view to plan, prioritise or update tasks

The task list with filters can be used to give a clear overview of tasks for a manager or other users based on filters. The filters are saved, so returning will show the same view. To clear the filter click "Reset".

For example if you open the task view and display all tasks filtered by a location, in this case "Service Company":

You could also filter to look at all Not Completed tasks until the end of the next week. Seeing all that wasn't completed and needs to be completed by the date:

The filters depend on columns displayed and you can change the display columns from hovering on the column title and click the down arrow, adding the column to the view will allow filtering, see below


Saving of Filters (Version 1.35 onwards)

You can save unto 6 Task filters as follows:-

  1. Turn on the filter row from slider on the right to show the filter buttons (1-6)

  2. Filter the tasks and right click on a button to save, when saved the button is coloured.

  3. You can reset the save filter by right clicking on a button and using reset.

Renaming Filters (Version 1.6.44 onwards)

The option to name and rename the filters to replace the 1 to 6 numbers has been added, simply right click on the button. See the picture below:-
