Where a performer working on a task needs to start and stop the work, or hand over a task to another performer then each block of time is recorded and the total work time can be seen.
So starting the work enters the date and start time and then to stop click the Stop task button.
This enters the end time and task duration as per below.
The task is not confirmed as I have not yet finished. When I return to the task, or another performer returns I can Start the task again, stop or confirm as needed, the full summary of the working times can be see on the Work times section of the task, for example:-
