How to Post a Link to Documents or Files on Your Feed

This article explains how to share sheets, external documents and files to All Gravy Feed

Updated this week

If you want to share a document, spreadsheet, or file on your feed, just follow these steps:

  1. Copy the link to your document (Google Docs, Sheets, Excel, etc.).

  2. Paste the link directly into your feed.

  3. Check the sharing settings on your document. Make sure the people who need access can open it. (For easiest access, choose the option “Anyone with the link can view.”)

  4. Post it on your feed.

If your link isn’t showing as clickable, try shortening it with tinyurl.com, post the short link first, press enter, then add your text above — this will make the link clickable

Making Your Links Clickable in Posts using tinyurl.com

If you’re having trouble with links not showing as clickable in your posts, here’s a simple workaround you can try:

  1. Copy the link to your document (Google Doc, Sheet, etc.).

  2. Go to tinyurl.com and paste your link there. This will give you a shortened link.

  3. In your post, type out the shortened link first.

  4. Press Enter to create space above the link.

  5. Now you can add your text above the link.

👉 This method makes sure your link appears as clickable in your feed.
