What can start a workflow
New hire — somebody joins
Birthday
Work anniversary
A time offset from any of those — seven days before, thirty days after, and so on
The time offset is what makes a sequence possible rather than a single message: a welcome on day one, a check-in at day seven, a probation reminder at day ninety, all set up once.
Where to find them
Go to Agents → Workflows.
Absence can fire a workflow too
If you use Bradford Factor absence scoring, a workflow can be triggered when somebody crosses the threshold you have set. That turns a report you have to remember to read into a message that arrives on its own.
