Patients can reply to you by e-mail after sending a post-consultation report.

By default, the e-mail address used is the one with which you log on to Allisone. Quite often, this can be your personal email address. If you'd like to use another address, such as your practice's, here's how to proceed:

  1. Go to 'My parameters'

  2. Click on 'My preferences' tab

  3. Insert your email in 'My contact address'

What happens if I uncheck the 'I authorize answers' box?

If you don't allow patients to reply to you, they'll never see your e-mail address and won't be able to contact you by replying to this e-mail. However, they can always click on “reply” in their mailbox. The e-mail will then be redirected to a “no-reply” mailbox - a secure inbox located on HDS-certified servers, which no-one else can access. Note that your patient will not be informed that you have never received the reply.

Note: It is not possible to know, for a patient, if the report has already been shared or not.
