Adding a link in an Alongspace gives you the flexibility to display it in 4 potential ways. That allows you to define what kind of style you want to use for the buying experience. Chose the option that speaks best to you.
You can add all types of links to be displayed in your Alongspaces. Simply use the "+" sign in the sections or actions edit area and choose an option.
Adding links in different styles allows you to optimally communicate content visually with your buyers.
Chose from 4 options:
Add a hyperlink to text and redirect a buyer to the link that way
Add a bookmark to show a simplified but beautiful link block with a custom thumbnail
Add an iFrame to allow a buyer to directly interact within a preview
Add an Embed from various options that natively integrate within an Alongspace for a custom preview
Adjust the link style
Every link can be updated visually by clicking on the "..." on the right side of the content block. Here you can pick the option to show:
Show as bookmark
Show as embed
Hyperlinks
Add links to text across sections and actions. The hyperlink will always appear with your selected branding color. The link opens in a new tab once the buyer clicks on it.
Bookmarks
You can add bookmarks for any link. Those bookmarks will be visually enhanced automatically, if the link provides meta information. If not, you always have the option to upload a custom thumbnail and edit the link title to your liking. This is a great way to have a visually enhanced link that is not taking up too much of the area in the UI.
You can update the bookmark title and you can also change the thumbnail, so that the bookmark has the look and feel that you want.
iFrames
You can add links as iFrames either from editing an already displayed link type from the "..." icons. Or you can chose the "embed any link" option to display any link as an iFrame. In some cases, the link cannot be displayed, if the website type has restrictions for iFrames. Therefore, you can pick one of the other link display options.
