Overview
Simply integrate Google Drive with Along and make sheets, slides, docs beautifully embedded content in your Alongspaces and provide your buyers an optimal reading experience.
⚠️ You see an "Access Warning"?
Don't worry - we are a compliant and secure platform. Google has some specific measurements that keep updating and we are sometimes a bit behind in doing that. It has nothing to do with our security, but purely with a system update from Google.
You can simply click on the text that says "Erweitert" or "Expanded" and then you click on "Along öffnen" or "Open Along" and you will be connected to your Google Drive.

Manage Google Drive to Slack connection
Simply go to your → Settings in your account. Click on → Integrations and then → Google Drive. From here you can connect your Google Drive account to Along.
⚠️ Important
One Google Drive account gets connected across your entire team in Along → Make sure the connected Google Drive account has access to all documents (e.g. an Admin)
Only admin members in your Along team can connect or disconnect the Google Drive integration
The integration to Google Drive allows you to share beautifully embedded content from your Google Drive in an Alongspace, which enables easily readable documents for an optimal experience
Make sure that all shared documents are shared with the view settings set to “Anyone with the link”, so that all people can view the content without any problems
Add Google Drive content
You need to connect your Google Drive to add any embedded slides, sheets, or docs.
Each section allows you to add any Google Drive embed you want.
Add a Google sheet
With embedded google sheets, you can visually highlight the document with the preview. By clicking on the “eye” icon, you can open the document in a new tab.
Add a Google slide
With embedded google slides, you can visually highlight the document that allows you to scroll or click directly through the pages within the preview. By clicking on the “eye” icon, you can open the document in a new tab.

With embedded google docs, you can visually highlight the document that allows you to scroll directly within the preview. By clicking on the “eye” icon, you can open the document in a new tab.
