Latest Fixes and Improvements in Octo

In this release, we’ve concentrated on cleaning up a few bugs and smoothing out minor issues behind the scenes. You won’t see big changes just yet, but these fixes help ensure Octo stays stable and performs well. We’ve got more improvements planned, so you can expect additional enhancements in the next updates!

  • Drag-and-Drop Widget PlacementAdd widgets to your report effortlessly by dragging and dropping them directly onto the canvas.

  • Smooth Movement & SwappingEnjoy a refined interaction experience with responsive widget movement and seamless position swapping when rearranging your layout.

  • Free Movement on Empty SpacesMove widgets freely into open areas of the canvas for greater layout flexibility and control.

  • Layout Tidy UpAutomatically fill empty gaps and tighten spacing to create a cleaner, more compact report layout with a single action.

These enhancements make building reports faster, clearer, and more intuitive — empowering you to create cleaner, better-organized layouts with ease.

🐛Bug Fixes

[Forecast]

  • Aligned historical date display and fixed table header translations.

  • Fixed an issue where the chart legend and tooltip did not update when switching languages.

[Cost allocation]

  • Fixed the allocation preview rule to ensure accurate results.

[Reports]

  • Fixed an issue where the “Cancel” dialog in report creation would not close after an error.

  • Updated report filters to use the Flexible Period chip for consistency.

[Insight Report]

  • Fixed various issues within the Edit Report Settings flow.
