Stop Time Validations
Stop Time Validations
Updated this week

To improve accuracy and reduce errors, we’ve introduced validations for setting Arrived and Departed times at stops. These validations ensure that actual stop times are recorded correctly and align with real-time constraints.

What’s New?

When entering Arrived and Departed times, the system will now enforce the following rules:

  1. Arrived time must be before or equal to Departed time.

    • This prevents conflicting timestamps where a stop is marked as departed before it has arrived.

  2. Both Arrived and Departed times must not be in the future.

    • The system checks times based on the stop’s time zone and ensures they do not exceed the current real-world time.

These validations help maintain data accuracy and prevent errors in third-party integrations, such as EDI and visibility platforms.

Next Steps

If you encounter a validation error:

  1. Review the error message carefully to understand the issue.

  2. Verify that the Arrived and Departed times follow the required sequence.

  3. Ensure that neither time is set in the future.

  4. Make the necessary adjustments and save the changes.
