Introducing the Alvys Carrier Marketplace

Welcome to the Alvys Marketplace—a brand-new platform that streamlines your load search, booking, and bidding processes all in one place. With integrations from both Uber Freight and DAT, you can now discover instantly bookable loads and take advantage of powerful search and bid management tools directly within Alvys.

What is the Alvys Marketplace?

The Alvys Marketplace brings together multiple load sources to simplify your workflow. You now have access to:

  • 🚚 External Integrations

Search across our data partners, Uber Freight, DAT & Truckstop

  • 🔍 Robust Search

Narrow your search parameters, and sort and filter results to quickly find the loads that meet your needs.

  • 🖐️ Bidding on Loads

Submit offers and counter offers on DAT loads that are configured as negotiable.

  • 📋 Managing Your Bids

Review bids you’ve submitted and convert awarded bids into loads within Alvys.

  • 🖥️ Dynamic UI

Enjoy a modern, responsive interface that supports dynamic interactions and improved performance.

Why is it Important?

The Alvys Marketplace is designed with your efficiency in mind. By consolidating load searches and booking into a single platform, you can reduce the need to switch between multiple systems. This integration:

  • Saves Time: Streamlines your workflow by aggregating load data from multiple partners.

  • Simplifies Load Management: Supports every step—from sourcing a load to booking and monitoring progress.

  • Empowers Your Business: Provides the tools you need to make informed decisions quickly, whether you’re booking instantly or negotiating rates.

Looking ahead, additional data partners will be brought online, and new interactions—such as directly calling or emailing customers, saving searches, and more—will be introduced.

How is it Used?

With the Marketplace enabled, you can search for relevant loads by specifying parameters such as pickup location, delivery location, mileage radii, equipment types, and more. Depending on the load’s source, the available actions are:

For Uber Freight Loads:

  • Book Now: Book instantly at the advertised rate. These loads will always show “Uber Freight” as the customer.

For DAT Loads:

  • Book Now or Bid Now: DAT loads may be configured as “bookable” (where you can book, subject to confirmation) or “negotiable” (allowing you to submit bids or counter offers). If a load doesn’t offer an immediate action, you may need to contact the customer offline. Once you’ve bid or booked a DAT load, monitor its progress under the “My Bids” section.

When a bid is awarded, you can convert it into a load in Alvys—either by associating it with an existing customer or by creating a new customer record if needed. When these actions are not supported digitally, we're surfacing relevant contact information so that you can reach out to the provider for more information.

For Truckstop Loads:

  • Truckstop does not support API-based bidding or booking. This means loads will appear in search results without digital booking options.

  • Instead, users can access contact details (email and phone number) for each load, allowing them to reach out directly to negotiate.

  • Email addresses and phone numbers are hyperlinked to streamline next steps.
