MacroPoint Outbound Visibility Integration with Alvys

The integration of MacroPoint Outbound Visibility incorporates the Visibility Service, which utilizes company level preferences to determine and transmit the most accurate location data to providers such as MacroPoint, Project44, and FourKites. The objective of MacroPoint Outbound is to optimize the tracking process by receiving updates and provides tracking visibility.

Note: MacroPoint outbound integration only requires the customer receiving the updates to have a paid plan with MacroPoint.

Why MacroPoint Outbound Visibility is Important

  • MacroPoint Outbound enables visibility of both inbound and outbound tracking updates.

  • It automatically shares data including:

    • Location: ELD, check calls, inbound tracking.

    • Statuses:

      • Dispatched or covered.

      • Dispatched when the first stop arrives.

      • In transit.

      • Delivered.

How to Use MacroPoint Outbound Visibility

The setup for MacroPoint Outbound Visibility is similar to the inbound integration. To configure it:

  1. Navigate to Management > Integrations > Visibility > Outbound.

  2. Enter your MacroPoint ID and Password.

  3. Select relevant subsidiaries for outbound visibility.

  4. Configure outbound sharing settings, such as:

    • Locations
