In this article, we’ll walk through how to create and manage Featured Folders in PXM. Featured Folders are the folders that appear on the home page of your instance, allowing quick access to key category or product folders. They can be customized for different regions and reordered or removed at any time.
You’ll need to be a Super Admin to make changes to Featured Folders.
Accessing Featured Folders
Go to the left-hand sidebar and click on Settings.
In the Settings menu, select the Featured tab.
This screen displays all the Featured Folders currently added to your instance.
Understanding Regions
PXM supports multiple Regions, also known as Organizational Units (Org Units).
Each region can have its own unique set of Featured Folders.
For example, your Default Region might have four Featured Folders displayed on the home page.
Another region, such as Training and Support, may not have any yet.
Switch between regions using the dropdown at the top of the screen to manage Featured Folders for each one.
Adding a Featured Folder
In the Featured tab, select the region where you’d like to add folders.
Click Add in the bottom right corner.
A list of all available folders within that region will appear.
Select one or more folders to feature (you can add up to 26 folders).
Click Add again to confirm your selection.
Your chosen folders will now appear on the main page for that region.
Rearranging and Removing Featured Folders
Reorder: Click and drag folders to change the display order on the home page.
Remove: Click the trash can icon next to a folder, then select Remove.
Preview: Click View to open the folder in a new tab and review its contents before finalizing your changes.
Who Can Edit Featured Folders
Only users with Super Admin permissions can create, edit, or remove Featured Folders.
Both category folders and product folders can be featured.
