Lightboxes in PXM allow you to collect, organize, and share a group or collection of specific assets (such as images) in a single, easy-to-access location. You can create multiple lightboxes, share them with others, and even export or display them as slideshows.

Adding Items to a Lightbox

  1. Select the items you want to add.

    • For example, select a few images or product folders by clicking the box in the top left corner.

  2. Click the three dots in the bottom right hand corner of the page.

  3. Choose Add to Lightbox.

Creating or Selecting a Lightbox

When adding items, you have two options:

  • Add to an existing lightbox (e.g., Shirts 2025).

  • Create a new lightbox:

    1. Click into the Lightbox Name field.

    2. Enter the name of the new lightbox.

    3. (Optional) Toggle on Allow others to view to share the lightbox in view/download-only mode.

    4. (Optional) Toggle on Others can edit if you want collaborators to make changes.

    5. If you’re an admin, you can specify which user levels (admins or all users) can access the lightbox.

Once created, your new lightbox will appear in the Lightboxes panel.

Managing Your Lightboxes

From the Lightboxes section, you can:

  • Rearrange items: Click the 3 lines on the left and drag images to change their order.

  • Download: Click download to download items locally to your computer.

  • Share: Create a shareable link to send to others by clicking on Share Lightbox. Anyone with the link can view the assets.

  • Change settings:

    • Adjust viewable and editable permissions.

  • Duplicate: Make a copy of your lightbox.

  • Export data: Choose from available export options (for example, File Names Export).

  • Create a slideshow: Generate a slideshow link to present assets in a gallery-style view.

Summary

Lightboxes are a flexible way to:

  • Group assets for projects or campaigns

  • Share curated collections internally or externally

  • Export or present content in different formats

They provide an organized workspace for managing and collaborating on visual content within PXM.
