Sharing Media via Email and Links

In this support article, we'll explore the process of sharing collections and files via email or through shareable links within the platform. Whether you're collaborating with team members or sharing media externally, these features provide convenient options for efficient communication and collaboration.

Sharing Collections:

  1. Use Search or Advanced Search to find the collection folders you would like to share.

  2. Make sure the search page is toggled to "Collections" and not "Files" in the top left hand corner.

  3. Select the collection folder(s) you wish to share by clicking on the checkbox on the top righthand corner of the collection. You can choose multiple folders if needed.

  4. Click on the "Batch Actions" button and select "Share."

5. You'll be presented with two sharing options: Email and Get Shareable Link.

    • To share via email, enter the recipient's email address(es) and send the invitation directly.

    • Alternatively, you can generate a shareable link by clicking "Get Shareable Link" and then copy the link to share with others.

    • (Keep in mind the regional and role permissions of your recipients to ensure they have appropriate access to the shared content.)

Sharing Files:

  1. Switch to the "Files" tab within the platform interface.

  2. Select the file(s) you wish to share.

  3. Click on the "Batch Actions" button and choose "Share."

  4. Like sharing collections, you have the option to share via email or generate a shareable link.
