Transparent video on your listing videos

You can now place a transparent video, like a logo animation, on top of your images in Amplifiles. This is useful for adding light branding or short animated elements without any extra editing tools.

A transparent video is a mov file with an alpha channel. It plays like normal video, but the background is removed so only the logo or animation stays visible on top of your images.

How to Add a Transparent Video

All transparent videos are added through the Overlays section.

  1. Open your project in Amplifiles

  2. Select Overlays from the sidebar

  3. To add a new one, tap the Media button at the bottom

  4. Upload your mov file

  5. Your video will appear as element

Once the overlay is added, select the video layer to open the settings. You can adjust:

  • Duration

  • Timing

  • Fade in and fade out

  • The exact clips it appears on

These controls let you place the animation exactly where you want it.

Previewing the Final Result

Play back your project to see how the transparent video looks on top of your images. You can return to the settings at any time for more tweaks.

Safari doesn’t support transparent videos in the preview (exports will still work). For the best experience with transparent videos, use Chrome.
