⚖️ Subscriptions vs Packs

Understanding the Difference Between Packs and Subscriptions.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At Amplify, we offer two flexible ways to book classes: Packs and Subscriptions. Each option is designed to fit different lifestyles, schedules, and goals.

Below is a breakdown of the key differences to help you decide which option is best for you.

🧘‍♀️ What Are Packs?

Packs allow you to purchase a set number of classes upfront, which can be used at your convenience.

Key Features of Packs:

  • Flexible Usage – You can use your credits whenever you like within the expiration period.

  • No Auto-Renewal – Packs are a one-time purchase and do not renew automatically.

  • Great for Occasional Attendance – Ideal for those who want to attend classes without a monthly commitment.

  • Varying Expiry Dates – Each pack has a set expiration date, so be sure to check the validity before purchasing.

  • Shareable – Can be shared with other people and can be used to book multiple spots in the same class.

Packs are the best for:

  • People who prefer flexibility in their schedule.

  • A group of friends who want to share credits.

  • Those who attend classes occasionally.

  • Individuals who do not want an ongoing subscription.

📆 What Are Subscriptions?

A Subscription is a plan that provides ongoing access to classes at a lower per-class rate.

Key Features of Subscriptions:

  • Monthly Auto-Renewal – Subscriptions renew every calendar month, starting from the purchase date, unless canceled.

  • Lower Cost Per Class – Typically more cost-effective for frequent attendees.

  • Consistent Booking Priority – Members get early access to class schedules as well as priority on the waitlist.

  • Individual Use Credits are for individual use only and can only book 1 spot per class.

  • Freezes – Can be frozen 1 time a year for up to 4 weeks.

  • Price Protection – Subscriptions are protected from any price increases for the duration of the 12-month contract.

  • Special Events – Access to special events for members only

  • Flexibility – Only requires a minimum 2-month commitment period. After the second billing cycle has begun, you can contact us to cancel the subscription.

Subscriptions are the best for:

  • Individuals who attend multiple classes per week.

  • Those who want a structured and cost-effective fitness routine.

  • People who prefer the convenience of automatic renewal.
