If your research files live in Microsoft OneDrive β shared lab drives, institutional repositories, project folders β you can import them directly into Anara. Connect once and those documents become searchable, citable sources in your AI chat.
Tip: Plan required: OneDrive integration requires a Pro plan or higher. See plans.
How to connect OneDrive
Go to Settings > Connectors.
Find OneDrive and click Connect.
A Microsoft authorization window will open. Sign in and grant Anara permission to access your OneDrive.
After authorizing, you'll return to Anara with OneDrive showing as connected.
Importing files
After connecting, select the files or folders you want to import from OneDrive. Anara imports supported file types including PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, and more.
Using OneDrive in chat
Once connected, type @ in the chat input and select OneDrive from the Sources list. Anara searches your imported OneDrive files when generating its response.
Tip: Combine @OneDrive with @Library to search across both your imported OneDrive files and documents you've uploaded directly to Anara.
If OneDrive isn't importing
Connection shows as disconnected? Microsoft OAuth tokens can expire. Disconnect and reconnect from Settings > Connectors.
Some files missing? Verify the file format is supported. Unsupported formats are skipped during import.
Files show "Content unavailable"? See Files aren't processing correctly.
