While Angi cannot guarantee a lead will result in a job, if you believe you received a lead in error, you may be eligible, in Angi’s sole discretion, to receive a credit for the lead as an incentive for reporting potentially invalid or fraudulent leads. Your report and associated credit request will be reviewed by the Angi team. If the lead is determined to be eligible for credit, the lead fee amount will be applied to your Angi account to be used for future lead costs.
Note: If you have an annual subscription, you cannot request credits since you are not charged for individual leads.
Lead credit guidelines:
Angi will only issue you a credit if you report the suspected lead within 45 days of the date that the charge was incurred and you do not have overdue account balances. Credits that are issued to your account will be issued as store credits and applied automatically toward future charges to your account. Credits will expire, if not used, six months after the date the credit was issued. Credits are promotional in nature, non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Angi also may provide credits, after review, for circumstances not listed below.
Angi may offer a credit for reporting leads for any of the following reasons:
The phone number isn’t in service or doesn’t belong to the consumer
The location doesn’t match the ZIP codes you are profiled for
The project doesn’t match the tasks you perform
The lead is the same as a previous lead
Your leads were turned off
The following conditions must be met for Angi to issue a credit:
The lead is less than 45 days old
You attempted to call the consumer within 24 hours of being sent the lead
You do not have an annual subscription
We realize that not all leads can be turned into jobs and we account for these situations while striving to offer competitive lead pricing. The following situations are accounted for in our lead pricing, and therefore are not considered reasons for deeming a lead invalid and credit eligible.
Consumer is not calling you back
Consumer already found someone to complete the work
Consumer changed their mind
Consumer is just "shopping"
You did not win the job
