Get a jump start on review collection by importing your company's Google reviews

You can get a jump start on review collection by importing up to 5 of your company's Google reviews. This feature is available on the Angi for Pros site. See below for step-by-step instructions, as well as frequently asked questions surrounding this new feature.

How to Add Reviews from Google:

  1. Sign in to the Angi for Pros site.

  2. Click the Reviews tab and then Request review. Under the Add reviews from Google section, click Import now.

  3. You'll be prompted to give Angi permission to access your Google Account - click Allow and enter your credentials.

    • Make sure you are using your Google Business Profile email address and password combination.

    • If you haven't already, you must first claim your Google Business Profile.

    • If you have multiple Google Business Profiles linked in your Google Account, you must first unlink those profiles.

  4. We'll display your 5 most recent Google reviews. Click Add reviews.

  5. You'll receive a success message that your reviews were successfully imported. They'll now be visible to customers on your public Angi profile.
    โ€‹Please note: As with other profile updates, the google reviews may take 24-48 hours to appear on your profile. If you see this successful screen, you should be good to go!

  1. How do I get my Google Business Profile to populate so that I can import my reviews?

    • Before we can import your reviews, you must first claim your Google Business Profile.

    • Click Own this business? on your Google Business Profile and follow the prompts, or review this Google help article for details.

    • If your Google Business Profile has already been claimed, make sure you are using the email address and password associated to the Google Business Profile.

    • If you need to request ownership of the Google Business Profile, review this Google help article.

  2. How do I import my reviews when I have multiple Google Business Profiles on my Google Account?

    • Before we can import your reviews, you must first unlink your Google Business Profiles in your Google Account.

    • Check out this Google help article for details.

    • Once you've imported your reviews to Angi, you can relink all of your Google Business Profiles.

  3. Is this feature available in the Angi app?

    • Currently, this feature is only available for on the site.

  4. Can I select which 5 reviews to import?

    • No - we select the most recent reviews based on the date and time they were submitted on Google.

  5. Can I select fewer than 5 reviews to import?

    • If you have less than 5 reviews, then we will import the number of reviews that you have.

    • If you have 5 or more reviews, you are not able to select which reviews to import. We will import the 5 most recent.

  6. If I get a new Google review, will it be added to my Angi profile?

    • This is a one time import. We do not continuously refresh and pull your latest reviews.

  7. Can I deactivate this feature?

    • You do have the option to deactivate this feature. Doing so will remove your imported Google reviews from your Angi profile.

  8. Will reviews imported from Google also go through the Angi review verification process?

    • Google reviews will not go through the Angi review verification process.

  9. How will Google reviews impact my eligibility on Angi or eligibility for the Super Service Award?

    • Google reviews will not count as part of the eligibility requirements to be on Angi or for the Super Service Award.

    • Imported Google reviews will only impact your review count and review GPA on your public profile (what consumers see).

  10. I received the successful screen, why am I not able to see the Google reviews on my profile page?

    • As with other profile updates, the Google reviews may take 24-48 hours to appear on your profile. If you see this successful screen, you should be good to go.
