If the option to 'Ask a simple question' is not available, or is greyed out, it simply means that your GP practice has disabled this option for patients.
Fear not, you can simply select the 'Get help for a medical issue' or 'Submit an admin request' option, both of which will be received and dealt with by your GP practice.
