Updated over a month ago

This article covers the resolution steps for common errors related to your attachment folder configuration. This usually occurs when you're logging in to Anima on a new device, moving to a different device or if there's been changes to the default folder.

The error messages you may see when saving or finalising records includes:

  • "Your attachments folder cannot be found"

  • "Error invoking remote method 'localFs': ReferenceError: response is not defined"

  • "Http failure response for (unknown url): 403 Not allowed to create files here."

  • "Unable to find folder"

To resolve this error, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings > User settings.

  2. Ensure your EHR username matches your EHR system.

  3. Under Attachments folder access, select "Select my own folder" and choose a location like your desktop or documents folder.

  4. Save your settings at the bottom of the screen.

  5. Validate your configuration by clicking "Test" and "Test default folder access" to ensure you receive two green success messages .

If the error persists, create a new folder (e.g., "anima-temp") and select it as your folder path. The attachments folder is a transitory folder where attachments are temporarily stored on their way to your EHR system.
