Building a simple DOE workflow

Updated over a year ago

Expressing your biological protocols in Synthace is done in the Workflow Builder. In the builder, you can use elements - the building blocks of workflows - to describe the biological steps that encompass your protocol.

Applying DOE to your protocol is done by the use of the Synthace Core Elements - the lowest level building blocks provided that describe common actions in the lab, such as Aliquot, Make Mixtures, or Dilute.

The following documentation will teach you how to use the Core Elements to build a simple workflow to which you can apply DOE.

Learn which of the core elements are compatible with DOE.

The beginning of your DOE journey starts with building the workflow that describes your scientific protocol. Let’s take a look at how to build a simple workflow suitable to DOE.

It can be very difficult and time consuming to work out all of the different stock liquids and their concentrations that you would require to satisfy a DOE design. Let Synthace take care of this for you, learn how to auto-generate those stock concentrations to best satisfy your DOE design.

Biochemical Assay Development - Part 1: Build a DOE-compatible biochemical assay workflow (Coming Soon!)

The complex mixture of ingredients that make up a biochemical assay can often be the answer to maximising the signal window or robustness of the assay. Learn how you can build a simple workflow to apply DOE to the optimisation of a biochemical assay.
