During workflow-building support, the Synthace Support team will often share workflows that address any questions or issues you may have identified.
Find your incoming workflows
Shared workflow will be available to you in the Incoming workflows section of the platform.
You will see all the shared workflows from Synthace, sorted by date.
If you click Open Request, Synthace will create a copy of the workflow that we sent to you, and then open it.
Tip: After the workflow opens, Synthace will display it on the Drafts tab until you simulate it.
Assigning devices to shared workflows
When workflows are shared from our help centre the device is removed, so you will always need to add this back into the resolved workflow from our support team. Follow the steps below to do this
You can select the device you wish to use from the Workflow Settings Menu.
1. Open the Workflow Settings here from the bottom left of your screen using the ⚙️ icon
3. Open the device menu by clicking Select Execution Mode
4. Choose your device, in this example, you can see the Certus Flex is selected
5. Pick some input plates in the Input Plate Types menu
6. You will then see the plates that are compatible with this device. In my case, I have 3 labware items that can be used on the Certus Flex.
❗ Note: If you are selecting a liquid handler you will also need to select your deck layout and configure any labware deck options you require. You can find more details here.
7. Now that your labware and devices are added, you can go ahead and simulate your workflow
