You can create a QR code in Editor for any published workflow. Anyone who scans it can complete that workflow without an ANVL account. They only enter their name and email. Submissions go to the Group you choose, so contractors, visitors, and temporary workers can complete safety workflows like permits, inspections, and observations at the point of work without needing a license or a login.
Note - If you do not see this feature, reach out to your ANVL Account Manager
Steps:
Before you Begin: Make sure you have Workflow Manager access to Editor in ANVL Insights. The workflow must already be published, because only published workflows show up in the QR code list. Decide which Group should receive the contractor submissions.
Open ANVL Insights, select Mobilize, then select Editor.
In the top right, click the QR code icon next to Mobilize. The Generate QR Code window opens.
Under QR Code Type, select No Login Required.
Under Group, select the group that should receive the submissions.
Under Workflow, select the published workflow you want contractors to complete.
Click Create QR Code. The QR code appears with the message “No ANVL login required to complete this workflow.”
Share the code in one of these ways:
Click Download PNG to save an image you can print and post at a site entrance, on equipment, or on a job box, or add to contractor onboarding materials.
Click Copy link to share the link directly by email, text, or a contractor portal.
Click Cancel or the X to close the window.
Tips:
Create a separate QR code for each workflow and group combination. For example, a Hot Work Permit for Cincinnati and a Hot Work Permit for Los Angeles each need their own code.
Label printed codes with the workflow name and site so contractors scan the right one.
All three fields are required. Create QR Code stays grayed out until you fill them in.
