Website backups are essential for safeguarding against data loss from accidental deletion, hacking, or server failure. They allow you to restore your site to a previous state, reducing downtime during unexpected events. Regular backups ensure your valuable content and customer data are secure, providing peace of mind.

PanelAlpha simplifies backup management through the "Backups" section in instance details:

  • Create Backups: Click "Add New" to start a backup. You can also enable and schedule Automatic Backups, depending on your product type. Some instances allow free scheduling, while others may have pre-set schedules imposed by an administrator.

  • Backup History: View details like backup name, date, size, type (Automatic/Manual), WordPress version, and custom notes. Use the search feature above the history for easy navigation.

  • Manage Backups: Download, restore, or delete backups using action buttons on the right. You can also select multiple backups for deletion at once.

With these tools, managing your backups is straightforward, ensuring your site is always protected.
