How to create, modify and organize pages in your API Portal

Updated over 8 months ago

Pages allow you to create new screens and content for your portal. These may be complex pages like the portal landing page or simple markdown blog pages.

You can find Pages under Portal > Pages.

The following fields are available on the Pages table:

  • Name - The name of the page.

  • Slug - The URL of the page. It may be modified to help SEO.

  • Status - Shows the published/unpublished state of the Page.

To create a new page, click on the + Add Page button.

Content Tab

The content tab shows the page detail and is split into two parts. The left side of the view is an editor where you may change your content as you see fit. The right side displays the changes that you make in real time and gives an idea of what this will look like when your changes are saved.

If your page supports product-specific content, you can switch the product using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the editor pane. This will change the preview pane so you can understand how your changes will appear for different products.

Settings Tab

In the settings tab, you may change the slug (URL) of the page and set whether the page will be available publicly or if the user must be logged in to see it.
